Our Story
DNSK began as a family business in Copenhagen in 1971. The idea was simple: beautiful, well-made jewellery that people could actually afford.
Over the years, that idea grew into one of Scandinavia's largest collections of jewellery and accessories. When Christian and Malene took over as the second generation, they kept the heart of it intact — good design, fair prices, and pieces built to last.
We're proud of that promise. It still guides everything we make for you today.

DNSK was never built alone. For over five decades, we've grown alongside the people who believed in us — and we don't take that lightly.
Long before any new chapter, we built this brand hand in hand with the people who shaped it:

A Brand That Travels Well
DNSK didn't stay local for long. With strong partners across Europe and the United States, more than 90% of our sales come from outside Denmark.
That growth was a shared effort. The trust of our partners, the loyalty of our customers, and the dedication of our team carried us further than we ever expected. Along the way, we earned recognition we're genuinely proud of:
- The King Frederik IX Export Award in 2014, presented aboard the Royal Ship Dannebrog.
- The Gazelle Prize, awarded several times to fast-growing Danish companies.
Good design and a healthy business, it turns out, get along very well. And throughout it all, we've supported Families With Children with Cancer — a cause that stays close to our hearts.
A New Chapter, and a New Standard
In 2022, we rebuilt DNSK into a leaner, more agile company. We streamlined how we work so we could focus our energy where it matters most: design, quality, and you.
Heidi Lauritsen joined DNSK over a decade ago and became a partner in 2022 when we rebuilt the business. She anchors our creative office in Copenhagen, leading customer service and day-to-day operations with the kind of care that only comes from truly knowing a brand. Her presence keeps DNSK rooted in Denmark — connected to the city, close to our community, and surrounded by the good people and fresh ideas that help the brand grow.
2026 — A Stronger Standard in Premium 316L Stainless Steel
Now, in 2026, we're taking that promise further. The full collection moves to premium 316L stainless steel — a deliberate step forward, made with care and designed to last well beyond a single season.
This is the upgrade you'll feel from the very first wear. Here's what it means for you:
- Built to last. 316L stainless steel resists tarnishing, corrosion, and daily wear far better than brass. Your pieces look as good on day one hundred as on day one.
