Nickel release, lead and cadmium
Our brass jewellery complies with EU REACH requirements for nickel release, lead and cadmium content. Nickel release describes the nickel that can be released during skin contact, rather than the total nickel content of a material. Meeting these requirements does not mean that nickel, lead or cadmium are completely absent.
If you are searching for nickel-free bracelets, check the individual material information rather than relying on a collection name. The band, clasp and any other parts touching your wrist all matter. Contact us if you need details about a particular design. Individual sensitivities vary, and compliance with nickel-release requirements does not guarantee suitability for every person with a metal allergy.
Choose a comfortable wrist fit
Measure your wrist where you want the bracelet to sit, then compare with the product measurements. Allow room for comfortable movement without letting the bracelet slip over your hand. A bracelet's total length is not always the same as its usable inner circumference.
For a rigid bangle, check the inner dimensions and whether it needs to pass over your hand. For an open cuff, consider both the opening and the fit around your wrist. Only adjust a design when its product instructions specifically allow it; an open shape does not automatically mean it is adjustable.
Wear alone or combine thoughtfully
Let one bracelet define your look, or combine complementary shapes with enough space to move naturally. When wearing bracelets beside a watch, avoid a tight stack that presses against your skin or rubs the surfaces together. Consider how the bracelet sits while typing and beneath sleeves.
Care for brass bracelets
Brass bracelets are not waterproof. Remove them before showering, swimming, exercising or cleaning, and avoid contact with perfume, lotions and household chemicals. Let skincare absorb before putting your bracelet on.
Keep the skin beneath the bracelet clean and dry. After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store separately in a dry place. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing products unless the product instructions recommend them. Follow any additional care guidance for decorative details. Stop wearing the bracelet if irritation develops; seek advice from your dermatologist if you have a known allergy.
